EDIT: Okay, so this is becoming insanely popular I'm glad you're all interested in this, but I'm aware you must all think I'm a crazy obsessed nutcase for doing it. It's not true! I only wanted to have something more substantial to make my point with besides capslock and a lot of exclamation marks I was just tired of all the circular debates. Now everyone thinks I'm a basket case
BONUS Cumberbatch’s villain being the one touching hands with Spock through the glass (while in the brig, apparently) makes even less sense when you think about the voiceover going over that scene in the trailer:
“Is there anything you would not do... for your family?”
These charts are BRILLIANT. I'm an in-fandom reporter writing an article for the Daily Dot about Star Trek trailer theories, and would love to feature them! Sadly they are probably too large to put inside the post, but I would like to link to them within the article. Would that be OK? If you're not comfortable with this, please email me at gavia@thedailydot.com.
That's fine that you link back to them, and I can't thank you enough for actually asking me; you're the first, out of the five or so places I've seen these featured
I'd appreciate it if you didn't refer to me as any combination of 'rabid' or 'obsessed', because it's not true and I'm getting a bit fed up with people taking these 'studies' out of context. Apart from that, feel free to mention these; I look forward to reading your article
(I'll email all this to you as well in case you're not on deviantART often )
It Might Not Make Any Sense That Its Cumberbatch's Hand But Look At The Sleeve , Who Had On Black , NOT Kirk Only Harrison. & How Did Spock Get Inside The Glass , When Harrison Was In There & They Are Clearly Monitoring Him ! I Refuse To Believe That Spock Is Going To Die , He's Too Gourgeous !
It not only doesn't make sense for it to be Cumberbatch's hand, but I've actually proven that it's Chris Pine's. And as for Kirk not wearing blacks, please see this. I'm sure there's more than one glass wall within the Enterprise for Kirk and Spock to be meeting through. Spock won't die; that would be franchise suicide. If he does, he'll be back. You seen "Wrath of Khan" and "Search for Spock"?
Since I've not read the script, I can't say there's no chance. I can say that Spock has been killed off before (and resurrected). I can say that if they do actually kill Spock and he stays dead that that will be the end of the franchise. I also think it's more likely that the main character who's going to come closest to dying will be Kirk
WOW. You're awesome!!!!!! . You could totally be a detective. I haven't even seen the trailer yet, but at least I know FOR SURE . Good job. (I found a link to your work through Screenrant.com! [link])
